Teenage girl allegedly assaulted at Dublin beach

Gardai are investigating after a teenage girl was allegedly assaulted at a north Dublin beach.

The incident happened on the night of Saturday, May 14 at Burrow Beach in Sutton.

It is understood that the girl was attacked by a young man.

A garda spokeswoman said: "I can confirm gardai are investigating an alleged assault that is reported to have occurred on Saturday, 14th May 2022, in the Sutton area of Dublin 13.

"Investigations are ongoing."
