A teenage boy was seriously assaulted outside a shopping centre on Thursday night.
The 15-year-old was viciously attacked near Silverburn in Barrhead Road at around 9.50pm.
He was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 9.50pm on Thursday July 11 police were called to reports of a 15-year-old boy having been seriously assaulted outside a shopping centre on Barrhead Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children to be treated for his injuries
"Enquiries are ongoing."
