Greater Manchester Police has issued a public appeal.
Two arrests have been made, the force added.

Both are teenage boys.
The force said that at around 8.46pm on Monday, a report that a male had been robbed at knifepoint on Moss Lane, Altrincham, was received.
In a statement, GMP said: "CCTV footage showed two males stopping the victim who was alone at the time, before appearing to tell him to turn his pockets out.
"The victim appears to do so before then walking off towards Altrincham town centre.
"The CCTV footage led officers to two teenage boys, who were then arrested shortly after the incident occurred on suspicion of robbery and possession of a bladed article."

No further update has been issued.
Sergeant Jenni Harlow, of GMPs Trafford district, appealed for the victim to come forward, saying police wanted to check if he was okay.
She said: "This must have been terrifying for the victim, who we believe is around 14-years-old.
"I'd ask that if you are reading this appeal, we would really like to check that you're okay and to ask for your assistance in making sure the offenders face justice.
