Continuing efforts to locate missing 13-year-old boy Kaya Isin have been widened to areas in the North Coast of NSW.

ACT Policing have received new information that Kaya may have travelled to either Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.

Residents in these locations are being asked to contact police if they have seen Kaya, who has not been seen or heard from since November 5 and was last seen in Kaleen.

Kaya is described as being of Asian appearance, about 150 centimetres tall, with black short hair, brown eyes and of a slim build.

He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, a black jumper and red sneakers. He also regularly carries a black bag slung across his shoulder.

Police and Kaya's family hold concerns for his welfare and are requesting the public's assistance in locating him.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Kaya is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 and quote reference number 6954534.
