A teenage boy accused of an extreme right-wing plot involving 3D printed guns has appeared at the Old Bailey to deny terror charges.
The 17-year-old from Essex allegedly “drew up plans” for the manufacture of the firearms in November and December last year.
It is said he spread extremist material on a social media channel, and is accused of having a series of training manuals on weapons and guns.
The boy, who turns 18 this month, appeared via videolink from a youth detention centre this morning to face the criminal charges.
He pleaded not guilty to engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts, disseminating terrorist publications, and four counts of collecting information contrary to anti-terrorism laws.
Recorder of London Judge Mark Lucraft QC adjourned the case until trial, which is due to start on June 7.
According to the charges, the teenager is accused of “drawing up plans for a storage bunker and providing information for the manufacture by 3D printer of two firearms”.
He has been remanded in custody until his trial.
