A 17-YEAR-OLD has been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed on a street in Glasgow.
Police were called to Scaraway Terrace in the Milton area at around 3.55pm on Thursday following reports of a serious assault.
Emergency services attended to a 41-year-old woman at the scene, who was then taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
It had been previously reported that the woman had been stabbed. Her condition has been described as stable.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the attack and is due to appear in court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55pm on Thursday, August 21, we received a report of a serious assault on Scaraway Terrace in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where her condition is described as stable.
“A 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged and due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 25, 2025.”
