Teenage boy arrested after man robbed at knifepoint at retail park

A teenage boy has been arrested after a man was robbed at knifepoint at a retail park in Bolton.

The terrifying incident happened on The Linkway, in Horwich, at 11am on Saturday (October 3).

The road runs through the middle of Middlebrook Retail Park.

Police say the man was robbed by two males, one of whom was armed with a knife.

A 15-year-old boy has since been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at around 11am on Saturday, October 3, to a report of a knifepoint robbery on The Linkway, Horwich.

"A man was robbed by two males, one of whom was carrying a knife.

"A 15-year-old boy was later arrested on suspicion of robbery.

"He has been released on bail pending further enquiries."
