A teenager has been arrested after a girl was allegedly attacked in Perth.
Police say the 16-year-old was assaulted last night at around 9.35pm.
She was left injured but did not require hospital treatment.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the alleged attack.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.35pm on Friday night, to a report of an assault in of Perth involving a 16-year-old girl.
"She sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.
"A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
