Teenage boy, 17, 'went on two-hour sexual assault rampage on London transport' as police make arrest

A teenager is alleged to have gone on a two-hour sexual assault rampage across London’s transport network.

Witnesses are being urged come forward following the series of alleged offences involving a 17-year-old boy.

The incidents began at approximately 4.40pm on Friday, September 5 when a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by the teen on a Bakerloo line carriage at Harlesden Underground station in Acton, west London.

The suspect then reportedly sexually assaulted two more women on a Thameslink train, then at Blackfriars station in central London.

Police then received another report of a woman being attacked aboard a Thameslink train heading towards St Pancras International station at around 6.40pm.

Finally, a fifth assault involving the same teen at West Hampstead Thameslink station in Camden, north London is said to have occurred at around 7pm.

The British Transport Police has made an arrest in connection with the incidents, with further enquiries ongoing.

A spokesman for the force said “they would like anyone who witnessed these incidents, or who may possibly have been a victim themselves, to come forward”.
