Boy, 15, rushed to hospital after Possil stabbing

A teenage boy is in hospital after being stabbed during an altercation in Possil.

Emergency services were called to reports of an incident on Saracen Street at around 4.30pm this afternoon.

The 15-year-old was rushed to Glasgow's Royal Children's Hospital where staff have described his condition as stable.

A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: "At 4.30pm on Monday July 29 a 15-year-old boy was injured after being stabbed during an altercation on Saracen Street.

"He was taken by ambulance to Royal Children's Hospital where members of staff have described his condition as stable.

"Enquires are ongoing."
