Teen yob who sped away from police in stolen Audi on the run after being banned from parts of Wirral

A teenage yob who sped away from police in a stolen Audi is on the run after being banned from parts of the Wirral.

Merseyside Police are trying to track down Connor Chapman, 19, after he failed to turn up to court for breaching a criminal behaviour order.

The order banned him from entering certain parts of the Wirral.

Chapman was previously locked up for eight months at Liverpool Crown Court on June 20, 2018, after he sped away from police in a stolen Audi S3 and headed down the wrong side of the road.

The 19-year-old, who was 18 at the time of the incident, was caught hiding in undergrowth where he told officers "I'm waiting for my mate."

He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified and breaching a criminal behaviour order.

Police are now trying to locate Chapman, after he failed to turn up to court in relation to a breach of a criminal behaviour order banning him from entering certain parts of the Wirral.

Chapman is known for frequenting the Woodchurch Estate in Birkenhead.

He is described as white, 5ft 6in of a slim build and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone that has seen Chapman or has any information about where he is should contact @MerPolCC, call 101 or get in touch with @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111.
