Teen wounded in Irving Park shooting

A teenage boy was shot Wednesday in Irving Park on the Northwest Side.

The boy, 17, was outside about 9:45 p.m. when someone in a gray sedan fired shots at him in the 3100 block of West Addison Street, Chicago police said.

The boy was struck in the leg and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.

Area Five detectives are investigating.
