Teen with prosthetic leg stopped while trying to sneak into Lollapalooza gets backstage pass

A Schaumburg teenager who got stopped by security while trying to sneak into Lollapalooza ended up with a backstage pass after a performer saw what happened.

Mekailo Woodfork, who has a prosthetic leg, was the only person stopped by security in a viral video of people stampeding the barricade surrounding the festival grounds to get in for free Friday.

Some people tweeted that it was unfair the 18-year-old was the only one to be barred from sneaking in, with one person writing, “Cops singled out the man on one leg at the end. That’s messed up! Let him go party with his friends! Legit feel bad for the guy.”

Another wrote: “And they stop the dude with one leg. Talk about low hanging fruit.”

But Woodfork’s luck changed when rapper Rich The Kid offered him backstage access to the music festival, Fox 32 reports.

Woodfork, whose Twitter bio reads “for any of those wondering I’m the one legged kid who stopped at lolla,” posted a photo with the rapper captioned “best day ever.”
