A man was arrested on the M6 at around 4.30am on Sunday, December 13.

Now police have charged a suspect over the incident.

Nathan Batha, 19, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for the police and driving without insurance.

Batha of Watkiss Drive, Rugeley, Staffordshire has since been issued with a postal requisition ordering him to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 12.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "The charges relate to a black Audi travelling at excess speed in the early hours of Sunday 13 December, on the M6 between junctions 17 and 21 and Manchester Road in Warrington."
