Boy, 16, shot in Austin

A teen was shot Feb. 22, 2020, in Austin. | Getty Images

A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Austin on the West Side.

He was standing on a corner about 8 p.m. when someone approached him and shot him in the buttocks, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
