Teen rushed to hospital after crash in Glasgow as cops shut down busy road

A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital after a smash on a busy Scots road.

Emergency services raced to Kingsland Drive, Glasgow, at around 9.05am on Thursday, February 24.

Cops confirmed the smash involved one vehicle on the busy road.

A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital following the incident. The extent of her injuries are unknown.

One local reported the road was shut down from the 'top of Kingsland Hill to the bottom of it'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.05am on Thursday, 24 February, to a report of a one crash on Kingsland Drive, Glasgow.

"A teenage girl was injured as a result of the crash and has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
