Teen rushed to hospital after being stabbed at Luas stop in late-night attack

A teenager was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a late-night attack at a Luas stop.

The incident happened at the Glencairn stop in Leopardstown, Co Dublin on monady night.

The boy, who is understood to be in his mid-teens, was approached by a gang at around 10pm, Dublin Live reports.

During the altercation with the gang, the young teen received stab wounds to the abdomen.

He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital and underwent treatment but his injuries are being described as not life threatening.

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live that no arrests have been made yet and investigations are ongoing.
