Amber Portwood, a reality TV personality from Anderson, Indiana, was arrested for felony domestic battery in Indianapolis Friday morning, online jail records say.
Portwood faces a preliminary charge of Level 6 felony domestic battery that stems from an incident that occurred at 2 a.m. Friday at a home in the 8900 block of Anchorage Drive, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.
The male victim said Portwood assaulted him while he was holding a 1-year-old child, according to IMPD.
Portwood is currently in the Marion County Jail’s arrestee processing center, jail records say.
Portwood has a court date scheduled for July 8 at 8:30 a.m., jail records say.
