UPDATE: Police announced on Wednesday that Zhyar Piroti has been traced safe and well. Officers thanked everyone who shared the appeal.
POLICE are asking for the public’s help in tracing an 18-year-old who has been missing overnight.
Zhyar Piroti was last seen in Glasgow’s East End on Tuesday, September 19 at around 9am, officers said.
Police put out an appeal to help in the search for the missing teen just after midnight on September 20, with a renewed appeal following at around 10am.
Officers said he was last seen near Alexandra Gate in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow.
Piroti is described as being around 5ft 10ins, of slim build with short black hair and believed to be wearing dark clothing. Police also said that he may be riding a silver bicycle.
Inspector Lisa MacDonald said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Zhyar’s wellbeing and I am appealing to anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to contact us.”
