A teenager was left with a black eye after a brutal assault by a gang of youths in Co Donegal.
The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, June 30 in Letterkenny.
Officers said the attack took place close to the Regional Cultural Centre on the Port Road in the town.
An 18-year-old man was kicked and slapped in the head during the vicious assault, leaving him with a black eye.
Gardai say the victim was attacked by a group of two females and a male, all in their late teens.
The gang then left the scene and headed toward the Station Roundabout on foot.
Officers investigating the incident are now asking any witnesses to come forward.
A garda spokesman said: "If anyone witnessed this incident or observed these people leaving the scene we would ask them to contact Letterkenny Gardaí on 074-9167100 or call the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
"The Taxi rank is situated close to the Station roundabout and we would ask the drivers to check their dash cam footage to ascertain if they may have captured those involved on their footage."
