A teenage boy was hospitalised this evening following after being hit by a car in south Dublin.
The collision happened at around 4.30pm this evening at the junction of Concolbert Road and South Circular Road.
Gardai confirmed that it is not being investigated as a hit and run incident.
The boy, who is understood to be around 15-years-old, was then taken to Crumlin Children's Hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision between a car and a male youth pedestrian that occurred at the junction of Concolbert Road and the South Circular road on 30/12/19 at approximately 4:30pm.
"The male youth received minor injuries and was taken to Crumlin Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
"This is not being investigated as a hit and run incident."
