Gardai are investigating after a teen boy threatened a young girl and her friends before stealing her bike in Fairview.
The 13-year-old girl and her two friends were followed by the teen from the Tesco Express to Grafton Barbers near Fairview Park.
The trio crossed the road to Fairview Park where they were approached by the boy shortly after 5.15 pm.
The 15-year-old threatened the frightened girls before snatching the bike and fleeing the scene.
A photo of the boy as he cycled away with the stolen bike has been shared on the LoveClontarf.ie Facebook page.
A garda spokesman said that enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Clontarf Station (01) 666 4800."
