
A 17-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon in a crash in suburban Skokie.
The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Harms and Golf Road, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The teen was pronounced dead about three hours later, according to the medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy released Thursday found he died of multiple injuries from the crash. His death was ruled an accident. The medical examiner’s office has not yet identified the boy.
The Cook County Sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
