One of three teenagers accused of murdering a Canberra man on the NSW south coast will face a separate trial next year.

The body of 56-year-old auctioneer Peter Keeley was discovered in bushland at Broulee, south of Batemans Bay, on February 2, 2020.

Three males, who were aged 17 at the time, were subsequently charged with his murder.

One was arraigned in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday when he pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Keeley.

Justice Robert Allan Hulme listed his trial to begin in Wollongong on April 18.

He noted the trial of the two other accused, who also have denied murdering Mr Keeley, has been listed to begin on August 9.
