A teenager has been charged over shots fired at two homes in Tasmania, including one on Boxing Day.

The 18-year-old was charged after being arrested at Ulverstone on Tuesday, accused of shooting at a Devonport home on December 26 and a property in Burnie on December 17.

He is also charged over an aggravated assault at Devonport on July 5 where a person was threatened with a gun.

The man, of no fixed address, has been charged with recklessly discharging a firearm, aggravated assault, evading police, motor vehicle stealing, and aggravated burglary.

He is due to appear before the Devonport Court on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old woman arrested alongside the 18-year-old has been charged with stolen property and drug related matters.

She was bailed to appear before the Devonport Court at a later date.

Police found a stolen motor vehicle, stolen goods and drugs at the Ulverstone property during the arrests.
