A man has been charged with threatening two taxi drivers with a knife and injuring one during separate attacks in Sydney's west.
A taxi driver was called to South Granville, in Sydney's west, on Thursday evening to pick up a passenger but during the journey the man pulled out a knife and threatened the driver, demanding money.
The 65-year-old driver stopped at a service station and the man fled before returning a short time later and stealing the CCTV camera from the taxi.
The following afternoon a taxi driver was called to Guildford, about three kilometres from the first incident, where a man got into the car and after an argument, pulled a knife.
A struggle ensued and the 42-year-old driver suffered cuts to his hands.
The man got out of the car and assaulted the driver before fleeing.
The driver was treated by paramedics for cuts to his hands and arm before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Investigating police arrested an 18-year-old man on Sunday when he attended Granville Police Station.
He has been charged with aggravated robbery, inflicting actual bodily harm and wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man was refused bail and will face court on Monday.
