A man has been charged following the alleged attempted murder of a woman in Fife at the weekend.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to Kirkland Walk in Methil at around 1.40am on Saturday, August 10 after reports a pedestrian was involved in a crash with a motorcycle.
As a result of the incident a 45-year-old woman sustained a serious leg injury.
An inquiry was conducted by Levenmouth CID and now a 19-year-old male has been arrested.
The man is set to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court ltoday.
