A teenager found with wraps of white powder and a baton was arrested and charged in Wirral.
An 18-year-old was stopped and searched by Merseyside Police in Birkenhead on Friday, August 20 when wraps of white powder and a baton were found.
David Holdgate, 18 years, of Palatine Road, Bromborough was charged with possession of a class A controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

A second man, Sean Lavin, 30, of Phillip Street, Chester was also arrested after a stop search where was arrested for possession with intent to supply class B drugs and was also found with class A and C controlled drugs and a false document.
Holdgate was bailed to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on October 11 while Lavin was remanded into custody before appearing in Liverpool Crown Court today (August 23).
A 36-year-old man from Tranmere was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs after cocaine and cannabis was recovered during a warrant at a house in Birkenhead on Saturday.
He was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The arrests came as part of Project Adder, which combines targeted and tougher policing with enhanced treatment and recovery services.
The scheme, supported by £11.76m in Government funding for the Liverpool City Region over the next two years, aims to cut drug-related crime and reduce misuse.
