Teen boy in critical condition after Woodlawn shooting

A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot Monday in Woodlawn on the South Side.

He was shot in the abdomen about 10:52 p.m. inside a home on South Ellis Avenue, Chicago police said.

The teen was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
