A teenage boy has been arrested over the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl in Glasgow .
Officers from Police Scotland are probing the alleged serious sexual assault which is believed to have taken place in the Royston area of the city on Saturday , November 16.
Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing with cops cuffing a 16-year-old male in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers are carrying out enquiries after receiving a report of a 14-year-old girl having been seriously sexually assaulted in the Royston area of Glasgow on Saturday, November 16.
"A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
