Teen assaulted on Glasgow street as police investigate late night incident

A teenager was assaulted in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow last night.

The incident occurred at around 9.30pm on Saturday, June 22 between Dumbarton Road and Larchfield Avenue when a 19-year-old man was assaulted on Dumbarton Road.

An investigation has been launched by Police Scotland following the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a disturbance between Dumbarton Road and Larchfield Avenue at around 9.30pm last night.

"A 19-year-old man was assaulted. He did not require hospital treatment.

"Enquiries are ongoing in the incident."
