A 14-year-old who was arrested for supplying class A drugs to a fellow teenager, who later died, has been released on bail.
Carson Price, 13, was discovered unconscious in Ystrad Mynach Park on Caerphilly Road and was pronounced dead the same day on Friday, April 12.
It is suspected Carson, who was from Hengoed, had taken the What are the Donkey Kong pills linked to the death of a teenager and which left one man seriously ill? . On Thursday April 18 a boy, 14, from the Pontllanfraith area of Blackwood was arrested.
According to Gwent Police he has now been released on bail while they "seek charging advice from the Crown Prosecution Service".
In a statement Caerphilly superintendent Nick McLain said: "Again, I would like to thank all members of the community for their continued support during this tragic time. The information received from the public has been a vital part of the investigation.
"I would like to ask the community to support our ongoing work, and refrain from posting any comments on social media that may jeopardise the investigation."
