Teen arrested after Wythenshawe motorbike smash

A teenager was arrested in Wythenshawe yesterday after he crashed a motorbike. The 18-year-old was arrested on the suspicion of handling stolen goods.

He crashed on Firbank Road, which is the site of two high schools, St Paul’s and Piper Hill.

Unconfirmed reports in the area from residents suggested that an air ambulance landed at one of the schools nearby. Now, police have confirmed that cops attended, along with other emergency workers.
