A teen has been charged following the death of a rugby player in Hamilton .
Brandon Rice, 17, collapsed at a house party in the Lanarkshire town last Wednesday in the early hours before he was rushed to hospital in East Kilbride, where he died.
Cops probing the death confirmed they were investigating whether drugs were involved.
A 17-year-old male has appeared in court charged with drug offences.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with alleged drug offences. He was due to appear in court on Friday, July 19.
"A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
At the same house party two girls, aged 16 and 17, and a 16-year-old boy also received medical treatment.
Brandon had just finished fifth year at Hamilton Grammar School and was a player for Hamilton Rugby Club.
