A teenager has been arrested after a police pursuit in Weston-super-Mare.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Winterstoke Road last night (February 19) after they suspected it was being driven without a valid MOT or insurance.
The driver initially failed to pull over for officers but later came to a stop in Cadet Drive, Haywood Village at just before 9pm.
Three occupants of the car fled the scene on foot.

Police carried out a search of the area and a 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent and failure to stop when required.
The male was also arrested on suspicion of theft of fuel.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Winterstoke Road last night after records showed was suspected of being driven without a valid MOT or insurance.
"The driver initially failed to pull over, but the vehicle eventually came to a stop in Cadet Drive at 8.47pm.
“The three occupants of the car fled the scene on foot.
"A search of the immediate area was undertaken and a 17-year-old male was found and arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent and failure to stop when required.
"The male was also arrested on suspicion of theft of fuel.”
