Teen arrested after man, 18, dies following crash at Fife farm

A teenager has been arrested after an 18-year-old died following a crash at a farm in Fife.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene at Little Balquhomrie Farm, near Glenrothes in Fife, at around 11.10am on Friday.

They had received reports of a one-vehicle crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

An 18-year-old man had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland confirmed an 18-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 11.10am today following the report of a one-vehicle road crash involving a car and pedestrian at Little Balquhomrie Farm, Glenrothes.

"Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man, who had suffered serious injuries, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident."
