A teenager has been seriously injured during a robbery in Linwood in the early hours of this morning.
Police raced to Clippens Road shortly before 6am following reports of a robbery on the street.
A 19-year-old was rushed to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley after being seriously injured in the incident.

The suspect made off with a quantity of cash.
It is not known what the victim's injuries are at this time but it is understood he is in a stable condition.
Officers cordoned off two areas near to a Nisa Local and a Day-Today store, both on Clippens Road, in relation to the incident.
They remained on the scene until later this morning.
A spokesman from Police Scotland confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
