Teen, 17, vanishes sparking police plea to public to help find her

*UPDATE: Police said on Friday, February 19 that Chantelle had been found safe and well*

The mystery disappearance of a teenage girl last seen over a week ago has sparked an urgent police appeal.

Merseyside Police today turned to the public as efforts to find Chantelle Roberts have so far drawn a blank.

Officers want the public to share their appeal we are publishing today and help trace the 17-year-old.

She was last seen in Kirkby on Tuesday, February 9.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Please share and help us find missing teenager Chantelle Roberts.

"17-year-old Chantelle was last seen in Kirkby on Tuesday 9 February. She is white, 5ft 11in tall, slim with long mousey brown hair usually worn in a bun, a fair complexion and blue eyes."

Police confirmed when last seen, Chantelle was wearing a black T-shirt, grey/black animal print leggings, dark green coat, and fluffy socks.

She is known to visit Earlestown and Newton-le-Willows.

Anyone who has seen Chantelle, or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or @missingpeople on 116 000.
