A 16-year-old was viciously attacked by two men who approached him from a car and assaulted him at a Dublin shopping centre.

The teen was at the Tesco in Rathfarnham shopping centre last night with a friend when the two men, who are believed to be in their 20s, got out of a car and attacked him with a crowbar and a hammer.

And the young boy suffered a head wound as a result of the attack and had to be treated in hospital.
