Teen, 15, stabbed in South Dublin just minutes after Azzam Raguragui was killed nearby

A 15-year-old was stabbed just minutes after tragic teen Azzam Raguragui was killed in South Dublin on Friday night.

The incident happened just over a mile away on Nutgrove Avenue just ten minutes after Azzam's killing.

The young man was rushed to hospital with heavy bleeding after being attacked by the gang of youths.

Gardai told Dublin Live the investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.

A spokesperson said: “A male youth aged in is mid-teens sustained an apparent stab wound during an incident on Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown at approximately 8.20pm on the 10/5/2019,

“It’s understood he was assaulted during an incident involving a number of youths.

“The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made to date.”

Gardai did not say whether the two incidents are linked, while the investigation into Raguragui's death has taken a "definite line of enquiry".

The Morrocon-Irish teen's family released a statement earlier this week thanking the community for their support.

Abderrahmane Raguragui said: "An Garda Síochána are leading in the investigation to uncover the truth behind our son Azzam Raguragui’s murder and we are resting our faith in the Irish Justice system to hold the perpetrator(s) to account.
