The fourteenth edition of the famous theatre fest returns with 72 shows by 58 performance groups over three weekends. They will take place at BACC and eight other venues in Bangkok. There are both free and paid performances to choose from. Here are some highlights of the first week, Nov 3-4.

Sleepwalkers by FULLFAT Theatre will take place at Yelo House near BACC. It's about a place of never-ending sleepwalking where behaviours, truth, dream, consciousness and unconsciousness will slumber together and intertwine. Make direct reservation with the theatre group. More info on the festival's website.
Nov 3-5 - 7:30pm. YELO House, Kasem San Soi 1, Rama I Road. B450 per person, B400 for students.
FACTORY by Dee-ng will take place at room 401 on the fourth floor of BACC. If you're curious how two dudes, twenty boxes and the mechanism of small intestine can come together as a performance then definitely consider it.
Nov 4-5 - 7:30pm. BACC, 4/F, Room No. 401, Rama I Road. B300.

Babymime, Thailand's best known mime trio, will pay a tribute to good teachers that we were fortunate to meet growing up. The Teacher is a comedy mime that should take you back to your school years. It should fill you with laughter and touching moments.
Nov 4-5 - 6pm or 8pm. BACC, 4/F, Studio, Rama I Road. B450.

O2 : Do you breathe? by 360ARTz Production & Dance Company is the edgiest in our pick but that's exactly why we picked it (well, just look at the Daikichi-Amano-esque picture). This physical theatre uses the actors to tell the story, through body movements and live music, of how we hold our breath when strong emotions bubble inside.
Nov 4-5 - 1:30pm or 3pm. BACC, 5/F, Room No. 501, Rama I Road. B400.
