Tedy Bruschi joins ESPN’s ‘Sunday NFL Countdown’

Tedy Bruschi is joining the ESPN team for “Sunday NFL Countdown,” a three-hour show which airs weekly during the football season on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bruschi, a three-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, joined ESPN in 2009. He will join host Sam Ponder, analysts Matt Hasselbeck, Randy Moss, Rex Ryan and Louis Riddick and insiders Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter.

Bruschi suffered a stroke on July 4, but shared a health update on July 8 to say that he’s recovering well.
