Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for Teddy, a three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
His carers say he is a friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people, loves attention and will always say yes to a belly rub.
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Teddy likes playing with his toys, especially the squeaky ones. Teddy is a clever boy, he knows how to sit and give both paws and is always keen to learn if a sausage or two is on offer.
“Teddy can be strong on his lead and is looking for owners who are used to walking bigger dogs. He can be uncomfortable around other dogs and would like to walk in quiet areas.
“Teddy can live with children over the age of 12 years old and would need to be the only pet in the house.”
