Ted Danson: Don’t fall for the false promise of recycling

Actor Ted Danson, best known for his roles in “Cheers” and “The Good Place,” testified Tuesday before a House Natural Resources subcommittee. Appearing before the panel in his role as the vice chairman of the board for conservation group Oceana, Danson told lawmakers that “companies aren’t doing enough” and that “comprehensive federal action is needed” to reduce the use and sale of single-use plastic products.
