Tech & Science Daily Podcast: Amazon probes how source code was hacked in ‘125GB Twitch data heist’

Amazon’s engineers are scrambling to discover how a hacker found a way into its e-sports streaming platform Twitch to apparently post the valuable source code online.

An anonymous hacker claims to have leaked Twitch data, including 125 gigabyte’s worth of info related to clients and unreleased games.

And while Amazon’s not commenting further, according to Video Games Chronicle the hacker was motivated to cause “disruption and competition”.

Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen has found herself in significant demand from governments.

Following her appearance before US senators, now British MPs say she is due to give evidence here in the future.
