(Picture: PA Archive)A NSPCC report reveals online abuse of children is rocketing and they’re warning that social networks are failing to ‘design child safety’ into their platforms.
The child protection charity is calling for the government to strengthen its plans for new internet protection laws after Freedom of Information responses from police forces showed nearly a 70 per cent increase in offences involving sexual communication with a child since 2018.
