Tech & Science Daily: Binance respond after UK crypto ban

The world’s biggest crypto-exchange responds after being hit with a ‘regulated activities’ ban by Britain’s financial watchdog.

The Financial Conduct Authority says the firm cannot conduct any “regulated activity” in the UK and has issued a warning to investors about ads promising high returns on crypto investments.

Binance says it’s taking what it describes as a “collaborative approach in working with regulators”.

Microsoft says attackers gained access to its online support desk to begin a hack that allowed them into the US government.

The company says it found this latest vulnerability during its investigation to identify the culprits behind breaches at SolarWinds.
