Tears of joy in Tesco as 82-year-old's Egyptian husband, 36, gets UK visa

An 82-year-old pensioner has said her tears of joy dripped over the apples in Tesco when she learned her 36-year-old Egyptian had finally been granted a UK Visa.

Iris Mohamady's graphic descriptions of sex with her husband flabbergasted presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield when she appeared on ITV's This Morning.

However, the retired care worker from Weston-super-Mare in Somerset said she and her husband celebrated his arrival in the UK on Friday "with a cup of tea".

However, Mohamed arrived in the UK on Friday, after being granted a three-year visa on November 3, after he passed the required English language test and showed proof he was able to move in with Iris.

Iris told The Mirror : “We didn’t celebrate – we are just together and that’s celebration enough.

“We just had a cup of tea together. Mohamed is happy but he can’t say much at the moment. He’s one of those reserved Egyptians.”

Mohamed called Iris to tell her the good news about his visa while she was out shopping.

“There was a lot of happy shouting and screaming," said iris. "I cried in Tesco while sorting out my fruit and vegetables.

“My tears were dripping on the apples. It was amazing.”

However, Iris said she is now "worn out" after travelling by coach from her home in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, to collect him from Heathrow.

“Three buses there and three back. We were worn out", said Iris.

Regarding their sex life, Iris previously told the Sunday Mirror: “It was incredible. I felt like a virgin again. It wasn’t easy but it was very loving and romantic.

“My ex-husband said I was frigid when we divorced 40 years ago but I now know I’m certainly not.”

Iris - who has two sons, Stephen, 55, and Darren, 54 - said some relatives gave her the “silent treatment” after she married Mohamed.

But she said: “We love each other. That’s all that matters.”
