'Tears in my eyes!' - Tottenham fans love what Son Heung-min has done ahead of Chelsea clash

Son Heung-min starts for Tottenham Hotspur in this afternoon's Premier League clash against Chelsea.

And it's safe to say that supporters are overjoyed with this decision.

The South Korea international has missed Spurs' last two games - the 3-0 loss at the hands of Crystal Palace eight days ago, as well as the 2-2 Europa Conference League, draw with Rennes - with a calf injury.

As reported by football.london , whilst Son hadn't taken part in full training ahead of the Chelsea clash, he was rated at 50/50 for the match in north London and was due to undergo a fitness test today to determine whether he could take part.

A test he clearly passed with flying colours as he returns to the Spurs XI.

Son is named in a very attacking lineup that features Harry Kane, who is looking to get off the mark in the Premier League, with his only two goals this season so far coming in Europe.

Interestingly, Son has scored both of Spurs' home goals in the league this term and he'll be looking to make it three in a row to ensure the Lilywhites take points off the reigning champions of Europe.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has also handed starts to Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele - the latter making his first Premier League appearance of the campaign.

With that said, most of the reaction from Tottenham fans on social media has centred around Son's return from injury to reclaim his spot in the starting XI.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...
