Tearful Carol Vorderman left 'frightened' by paparazzi outside Bristol home

A tearful Carol Vorderman has described how she was left 'frightened' by two paparazzi outside her home in Clifton.

The presenter was leaving her home to travel to Cardiff for her Radio Wales weekend show when the two photographers started taking pictures.

After posting a tearful message on Twitter, she said she would report the pair to the police for harassment.

Writing on Twitter she said: "When I walked outside of my front door this morning I was greeted by two not nice paparazzi....who had turned up at the BBC last week and I went in by a side door to avoid them, so they decided to harass me at home instead.

"I came out of my house to go to my car first, saw them and said 'you're harassing me'.

"They were then after the 'cross Carol' pic. I went back inside to have a think and so I filmed them. There's one nice pap in Bristol who is respectful. Not these two. It frightened me tbh (to be honest)."

Carol decided to film the pair and later pulled over during her drive to Cardiff to post an emotional video showing how much they had upset her.

She said: "I am on my way to Cardiff to do my radio show and I have had to pull over. It has really upset me and I don't really get like that.

"I just hope nobody uses the photographs, that is all I am saying. Thank you for listening."

The former Countdown presenter added she would report the pair to police later.

"I don't expect they (the police) will be able to do anything (not their fault and they have bigger things to think about) but at least then it's logged," she said.

"Meanwhile....chin up and thank you for yr kind messages. They mean a lot."

Vorderman moved to Bristol after selling her home in Clapton-in-Gordano in North Somerset.
